If you changed FULLSCREENY to 1024 (if that's what your monitor runs at natively for example), and then set then it should work, and give you more tiles vertically. 1280x400 is not a valid resolution that it's set up to handle. I had that error before, I think it's because you're trying to run your monitor at a resolution that it can't run at. Is that my problem? I did not use the ezpack style for this as that loads in 33c not 40d. I had all this running on the 33c edition, which it seems what all these tilesets were intended for. I am at a loss, since I followed the instructions in at to the letter as best as I can tell. FULLGRID is used in full screen mode, whether graphics is on or not. The default windowed font has tiles that are 8x12 pixels, for instance, so for a 80x25 grid, you use a 640x300 window, and for a 125x50 grid, you'd use a 1000圆00 window. Make sure the window size or full screen resolution matches the grid/tile size if you don't want the display to be squashed or stretched. This is the dimensions in tiles of the display grid. As of September 2008, the Dwarf Fortress Wiki has graphical tilesets available at. The game comes with a few pictures to demonstrate. Currently this is limited to whatever creature graphics you have downloaded. This will use the "raw/graphics" folder for tile information. Tiles that are too large will always be compressed rather than running off the screen. If this is set to YES, the tiles will not be stretched, but rather the game view will be centralized, surrounded by black space. Changing to 800圆00 and the 800圆00 font might make you happier. This is the size and font for windowed mode. This lets you set the starting windowed/fullscreen setting. My monitor is set to 1280x1024, but this should have no effect on fullscreen, which is where i get the error "Modw switch failed. Anyone know what gives? This is a biggie for me, as the visual interface is a make/break for my game enjoyment. It will only work if I return it to its 800圆00 default. I have edited the correct Font.bmp stuff with the tileset name and have chagned the resolution to the parameters specified in the tilesets and i get an error when i run the game. Rose (went with tea rose) (new in DF v0.OK, I have been trying to install Guybrush's tileset into the game and keep getting problems. License nr 66472237 - bought and paid for. While the ethics of extensive burrowing of sprites can be discussed, Meph was a pioneer in TWBT editing, which is a craft I decided to master. The problem with Mephs tileset at the time was the vastly varying variations and styles throughout the tileset, which was a product of Meph using many different tiles from different authors and games. My main motivation was trying to produce a 32x32 tileset with limitless possibilities with a coherent feel and uniform style. I started off drawing dwarves in a nordic folklore style and just extended beyond that. I started this back in 2018 while being home sick with pneumonia, needing something to do. A strive to eclipse Mephs tileset, and a spark of pneumonia. This tileset is a product of three things the (almost) limitless of the TWBT extension. Perhaps you like gothic horror or a darker style for your dwarven dungeon paired with a beautiful consistent design. If you, like me, like your dwarves big-nosed and stunty, with a hint of anglo saxon or nordic design. Vettlingr claims this Artifact as a personal heirloom.
